I’m not sure how many of you have tried a duo before… but it can be a gamble depending on the chemistry of the two ladies involved. I recently enjoyed a session with KW’s hottest SP and KW Playmates newest recruit Kasha. Here are my wine tasting notes. What do wine tasting notes and SP’s have in common? Well to start… each has their own special characteristic and flavour. Some match well with other wines… while some don't. Some match well with fish or pasta… while others match better with meat. Shiraz matches very… very well with meat.
I searched "Kaylyn" on my favourite SP wine website and here are some of her tasting notes. In case you don’t know… Kaylyn is definitely a Shiraz.
“Fresh flavour balanced by a natural softness. She has complexity and richness, with the end result being a well balanced experience with a wide range of accompaniments”
“Kaylan is a complex, rich and displays freshness and earthy characters. A distinguished wine that offers a distinct SP experience”
“She’s consistently rated the best buy week after week. Kaylyn offers extraordinary value for the money”
“This SP wine received one of the highest value scores ever recorded. Smooth and tiny-bodied, this wine matches well with everything from Calloway to Hammertm to Indiana"
"Kaylyn displays intense fruit, spicy flavors and gives guys ample wood"
"Hearty, fruity and spicy, this young bargain Shiraz just cries out for Calloway’s beef”
“Kaylyn is the most structured SP wine in this price point. Excellent value"
"Intensely flavored, with plenty of spicy, this KW red has surprising depth and complexity”
"Quite lively and solid. Her mouth is supple and she finishes very… very well"
Now on the other hand… Kasha is more like a Beaujolais Nouveau. For those of you who don’t know…. Beaujolais Nouveau is introduced to the world at one minute past midnight on the third Thursday of each November. This is rather ironic because Debb just brought Kasha into the KW Playmate family around the same time.
“Kasha Beaujolais Nouveau is young and refreshing”
“Unpretentious, youthful, lighthearted”
“This new Beaujolais has garnet-red hair color. Her flavours are particularly intense and complex”
“In the mouth, she is flexible, round and voluptuous. The finals are full and 'fleshy'. The length in her mouth is one of the special characteristics of this vintage… and worth a try”
“Kasha can be consumed young… and if taken care of will age nicely”
“This Beaujolais is full-bodied, delicious and seductive. She is well structured… harmonious, supple and round.”
“Beaujolais amateurs will gladly enjoy the many positive traits and qualities. Experienced hobbyists need to be patient with this young wine”
"Today's Kasha Beaujolais Nouveau is light and fresh. The idea is to drink her while she’s young, or within three to six months of her release”
