Why do Sp's travel to other cities? Is it a need for change of pace? Is it another way to increase revenue? Is it the need for adventure?

Well if it is to the States, then it is obviously for the American dough. Rates in America are far higher and a SP can make sometimes double of what they make here. Travelling within Canada probably is just an adventure, or change of scenery. Primarily I would think it is a combination to make the American money and have fun while doing it in a foreign setting. Just hopefully, they stay out of trouble and don't mix with the wrong crowd, and they manage to have a successful tour, all is good. But there are stories of girls going on tours, and running into all sorts of shit. Drug charges, getting robbed, meeting weird people, and what not. This industry after all is a dangerous one to say the least.

I do not think they make much more traveling as there are the exspenses incurred like hotels...traveling......meals......advertising and the worst "no shows"
do they show great plays and movies in only one city......nope.....they try and move it around so every one can enjoy the experiance.......
Also..the lovely ladies enjoy the travel and the change of pace.....not to mention it breakes the same old routine.

Of course I am assuming that any SP in their right mind to travel has done research and set many appointments up ahead of time. Including many over night sessions, and long bookings, rather then a string of hour calls. If any SP was to travel based on a few hour bookings then they are looking for a bad experience. I am referring to the ones that have set appointments, a few over nights, perhaps even a few several day bookings lined up already. This is the smart way of doing it. But yeah it is for sure the adventure of travelling and changing the environment that lures them. Ones that go just for the sake of going are either forced, on drugs, or just very very very brave and are looking for trouble.
